Only the upper case and chest remain of the organ of Santiago Ihuitlán Plumas which has been preserved in an unusual way. The upper case was set on a cement base, repainted, and has been used as an altarpiece. The windchest, which indicated 10 stops, was turned over and serves as a platform for the religious statues inside the case. The northern location of the community and the curved upper profile of the case indicate a Puebla construction.
